Your consultant learns what you want from your trip, researches destinations, routes, hotels and experiences, and turns them into a personalized itinerary. Once you approve the plan, we coordinate the bookings, organize your confirmations and documents, and stay available if anything changes before or during your trip.
How much does it cost to work with a travel consultant?
It depends on the type and complexity of your trip. Before you commit, we explain whether a planning fee applies and exactly what it covers, and you will see the full cost of flights, hotels and experiences before anything is booked. We never add charges you have not agreed to in writing, and where suppliers set their own taxes, port charges or resort fees, we point those out first.
Do you only plan trips within the United States?
No. GrammarVista.com USA serves travelers who live in the United States, and we plan both domestic trips — national park road trips, city breaks, Hawaii and Alaska getaways — and international journeys to Europe, Asia, the Caribbean, Latin America and beyond.
How far in advance should I start planning?
For most international trips, three to six months ahead is ideal. For honeymoons, peak holiday dates, cruises, safaris or large groups, nine to twelve months gives you the best choice of rooms and prices. Shorter-notice trips are often possible too — share your dates and we will show you what is available.
Can you help with passports, visas and travel insurance?
Yes. We tell you which documents your destination requires, remind you of important deadlines and explain travel insurance options worth considering. U.S. passports are issued by the Department of State, so you apply or renew directly through the official passport website (opens in a new tab), and visa rules are set by each destination country.
What happens if something goes wrong during my trip?
You travel with your consultant’s contact details and an itinerary that includes every supplier confirmation. If a flight is canceled or plans change, reach out and we will help you explore options with the airline, hotel or tour operator. For emergencies abroad, the nearest U.S. embassy or consulate can also assist — enrolling in the Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (opens in a new tab) before you go makes that easier.
